Ultimate Explorer Strategies

Hey guys, I have trouble going through the ever more challenging explorer. I find it the most worthwhile activity because it requires strategy to get through each challenge. What are some strategies that have worked for you?
I can't seem to get pass challenge 15.

I was thinking of using swindle with pressure on a silver Verte along with a taunt mob. How much pp does it cut off each turn? what about swindle + 1 ?

How to implement an effective spherix doom mark? I know foresight is 100% on the first try. If I use a second foresight skills on another slot, will it work 100% ?

thanks in advance.

Re: Ultimate Explorer Strategies

Explore just plain sux now!
What floor are you on? Getting to 15/30 isnt that bad now a days, When I did explore (temp gave up on it) I usually quit after 10/30 on floor 4. Cost to much potions and aggravation for me. Before the "update" I would beat 25/30 regularly. It all depends on who and what monsters/grade your facing too. I start seeing Gold epics after 5/30, and not just 1 in opponents line up. It shouldnt be easy, but dam it shouldnt be this hard either. :?

Swindle +1 will take 1 pp from both opponents (Dual duel or tm) I believe Swindle takes 1 pp from single target

Doom Mark/ foresight I can't comment on, Not sure about it. I do think Foresight has a chance to miss on the first use as well, it's just a very slim chance. Then on 2nd and 3rd uses the chance to miss grows on each use.

Re: Ultimate Explorer Strategies

OK, I just chatted with a player that has DM and 4 foresights. They said the first use on each one does hit 100% and the following uses have the chance to miss. So they have 4 shots at 100% (unless opponent has No Guard Talent) then 8 shots with chance to miss.
They also said it helps a ton in explore :)

Hope that helps

I'd suspect a Fluctuate C-4PO would make for a great foresite monster. Foresite odd turns kick butt even turns. I'll eventually give it a try since I have an S C-4PO with Fluctuate already, I'm just not ready to shell out the EoW to skill it up since I have a Planto arriving tomorrow and want to make a Danshee quite badly.

Sphierx (if spelled correctly) is the best mob IMO to use foresight. Sphierx has a mystery talent called Doom Mark. One of the most OP talents in the game. Read up on it, I can't explain it too well lol. For starters using foresight, get a mob with the talent "taunt" and equip it with the skill. Very useful in Explo, and 2v2 duels.

1) Monsters with 'taunt' talent and foresight are definitely needed. If you also want to play safe, give him Super Healing Pot or teach them Soak/Photo (optional). I haven't seen 4 foresight work so i can't confirm this is true.

2) Spare lv 50 monsters (doesn't matter if it's E rank or D rank).
-They actually come in handy and help plan next attacks. Basically, just send them to check talents and skills.

3) Record everything down: Teams you battle, team you used, etc.
-I think it's self-explanatory. But chances are you may be battling same team repeatly.

Bull is right about one thing: explore is really terrible and it's been almost a month and yet we haven't heard anything about the fix. :?
