Why does this occur?

If anyone can share some information that would be great. I currently have a neon with both electrocute and thunderstorm +2. My neon when controlled by the computer in both ladder and fortune race mode, uses electrocute more often than thunderstorm +2. So needless to say a 70 damage skill over a 100 damage skill. I do know that electrocute has a higher rate to land a critical hit, however, does not come in handy during these modes. Can anyone explain this issue? Is there anyway to resolve this other than replacing the skill? anything is appreciated

Since Electrocute has 30% chance to land a critical hit and 70 power, so computer will use this skill instead Thunderstorm.
I suggest you remove Thunderstorm and replace with Super Thunder Storm instead. If you already have STS, you can learn another Electrocute or STS, it's up to you.
But I dont know what if in Ladder, your neon will use STS or Electrocute. But I think in Rain, it will use STS for sure

Sadly to say, even with STS it will use Electrocute sometimes. It depends on what your fighting too. If its a water monster my neon used to be 50/50 on what skill it used, until I ditched electocute. In Ladder it tended to use Electrocute more because of the increase in crit rating I am guessing. So if your Neon is going to be a WB and/or ladder mob, I suggest swapping cute for TS. Its just bad AI that tries to choose the best skill to use.

Keep in mind that you cannot do a Crit hit in Boss/World Boss modes
