The best way to farm for EOL is to constantly run through levels on floor 2 and hope for the scrolls. Another way is to open up chests, but your chances on getting 1000 EOL through chests are very slim. Also, team mode offers a once-a-week legendary fragment opportunity. Once completed, you acquire a fragment and have the opportunity to spin for EOL, the highest I've seen was 8. Hope this helps.

Guardian Chests give a decent amount of eol when opened, 5 to be exact. Aim to get in the top 10 for every boss and with some luck, u should be able to get at least 5 per day from wb.

I wouldn't say there is a specific place that drops a higher amount of eol on f2 of the lost tower, but i guess you should run through the thorny forest levels or barren lands as haypi tends to give better loot as you proceed further with the levels.
