I will defer to MikeJp's advice on Cranie, but I wanted to mention that you should try and get both a water and earth type Epic for sure. I prefer Brawny over Scythe personally, and I used Cyg forever until I got Whalorn and Hydra.
Flight with tech 2 is an ok monster, but he doesnt really get "good" until hes gold. My first Epic was Flight, got him when game was released a yr and half ago, He is still B+ and I NEVER use him.
Work on your felicity for sure!!! For starting out get Mind bending and Soak, Later on look to get Fire Bombs. I prefer soak over UL because you can heal when you need to, UL you need to have plant/earth opponent to get any health back worth a darn.
Also look to get Pattafly, I think he is way better than Planto persoanlly.
Sally is ok, probably not bad being Gold, but you need a Neon. Neon with adapt is more well rounded than Thor, he can take hits from opponents better and his damage output is very good. Thor is a glass cannon, his damage is awesome but he dies to quick for my taste. Thor is great for world bosses and boss raids. Neon is great for maps and very good in WB and boss raids.
Recap: Crystal, Roco, JUNK. If you want Cranie, go for it or use your Cyg. Work your Scythe up since you have him already. Think about Pattafly though if you can get him, do. And definitely work on Felicity!
My thought is to have at least 1 of each element that is Epic or better if not multiple of the same element. A well rounded team will progress you further in the game than one that is made of 5-6 monsters. I have Blaze of course, Cyg/Whala/Hydra, Patta (and had a Smiter), Neon/Thor, Felicity/Hypnoe and Purr for WB, Flight, Meniss/Verte, Brawny/Scythe, and Clawpard. As a side project, make Shadow so you can seal epics easier except Meniss. For his build see the TLT facebook page in my signature.
