How dead is this game?

Well, when I can log in at 9 am est, go into the world boss, hit the one that was at 18k hp. Use my 10 attempts and get the kill!!!??? No one else is on to hit it..

I just received an email from Angela saying that a patch was coming through in the next week that will make everything more fun.... I stopped playing 6 months ago, so I don't even care. Figured I'd let you guys know.

I had also sent an email to support about my concerning of the game dying. Also gave them suggestions, from a customers point of view. I'm sure it was brushed off. I dont know how this game will revive itself. Updates wont bring people back, as for the recently released updates drove most off the cliff.
