Why is hippogon scroll being removed from the magic shop? I've been saving eol since I reached floor 4 so I could buy one.. But there's no way I'll be able to farm another 500 before halloween

It's being removed because it can easily acquired through tokens in alchemy.

I get 6 tokens per day. Since the update i have gotten 3 physical tokens from chests... Farming eol from floor 2 would have netted me hippogon in another month or 2

Glad i farmed all of this eol so that once i was over halfway to my goal it could be pushed out of my reach...

Hey man dont get down. I'm in the same boat as you. I currently have 1 physical token and no hippo LOL. You can use that EOL for a flaunt scroll when you're ready to make a Hippo! I dont know if you saw my post in chat earlier regarding your situation but, if you haven't completed chaotic swamp expert 11-15, keep the supers that you are rewarded. Making all 5 at A-, you should acquire roughly 150 tokens! Easy scroll there my friend.

I'd prefer to use the superiorities (i already have them) for enhancing my pattafly. With hippogon out of my reach, I'm just going to focus on making my epics gold.. Pattafly, pewgway, and neon are all attainable. Funny thing is i promised myself I wouldn't buy coins again until i got my hippogon and I'm gonna stick to that promise

Removing Hippogon scroll from shop is kind of foolish. It now makes EoL and Floor 2 in general pointless except grinding for Stat Bet currency.

And without a significant strength difference between expert cave Epics and scroll only Epics it really makes going for scroll epics kind of foolish as they are much harder to get and that Energy could be better used to get Runes, EoW/Advanced Books or use the EoL from the scrolls to get a Gryphion or Stat Betting.

Why get a Gold Slider when you can easily get a Gold Pattafly, (and be able to Stat Bet it instead of buying the Slider scroll), same thing for Rhor/Neon and Pewgwey/Cygness.

Frankly to me it makes more sense to have *more* Legendarys in the scroll shop, providing alternative venues to hunt. We have Hippogon in scroll shop and token shop, Sphierx on Floor 5 and token shop, Gryphion in Boss Raid shop and token shop. A regular or Bronze Legendary is usually not better than a Silver or Gold Epic, making getting multiple of the same Legendarys harder to get actually devalues them as competitive content.
