I'm not receiving my boss essence!

So over the last few days I've been battling bosses to receive boss essence for the electric chicken. I've had 23 essence for a long time and I've battled 2 of my own and my friends(chagers) bosses. I defeat the boss and it appears in te daily gift box and when I receive it it doesn't show up in my bag! So now I'm missing about 8 essence and it makes a difference to me and it just isnt fair and no I never get 10 essence a day so I don't exceed the limit but I need my essence! I'm not sure if its a bug or not but haypi please fix this

I am also having the same problem, I have killed 2 bosses now and I have not got any essences.
