Martyrdom can be used against Shun in sandstorm

I just fought a scythe twice and exact same thing happened.

Scythe cast sandstorm
Pegway cast torrent
Scythe cast martyrdom and did not die. And did a whole bunch of damage to my turtle.

Normally without sandstorm shun would activate and the scythe would just die without doing any damage to my turtle.

Please fix. I made this turtle just to deal with pesky res/martyr scythe

This might not actually a bug. They might have designed it so that in Sand Storm, Rock-types are immune to any bad effects - debuffs, talents that prevents skills/talents from activating, etc.
I do hope it is a bug, though. Honestly, I actually want the weather system to be nerf-ed. It is SO annoying facing a Sandstorm team (as there are no Blizzard teams in my server). Practically half of my attacks miss! I do hope they reduce their effects.

Well, they don't really work against Ghost types.

Also, try and change the weather when you can.
Personally, I'm fed up with Sandstorm. I really, really am. I hope they make the benefits smaller. That and Blizzard seem to be the worst. I think they need to rethink the benefits. The dodge rate increase/aim rate decrease is too much, in my opinion. Plus, couple this with the invalidation of harmful effects.

Well, Massive Boulder alone will need 3 or 4 hits and Cunning only needs 2, 3 if with Resurrect (haven't tried with Magic Force 3 one yet). Normally, my Verte kills the Scythe but because of the Sandstorm, it is getting really annoying challenging other players for the top spot.

If that's not a bug than scythe can marytr twice without dying becuase sandstorm it up?

That would be op and completely bs.

Tested original poster's claim in pvp recently.

2v2 : Team A is Shun Pewgway & Adapt Draco
Team B is Therapy Behemoth & Armor2 Scythe

R1: A : Rain Prayer, Fire Blast
: B : Sand Storm, Boulder
R2: A : Water Bombs, Fire Blast
:B : Kamikaze, Martyrdom

Scythe was shunned & unable to use martyrdom even though sand storm was in effect at beginning of round .

My experience was in ladder not pvp
