Swiping/Dragging to the Right

Hi!

I've been having a weird problem ever since I started playing the game.
Whenever I swipe the screen to pan a challenge map to the left, or drag a monster from the left to the right, or do any similar action in any screen, an empty blue bar appears at the top of the screen, and pushes the rest of the game screen down, so that it gets cut off at the bottom.
This only happens when I swipe or drag specifically to the right first. If I do it in any other direction beforehand, this doesn't happen. Also, the only way to be rid of this blue bar problem is to restart the application completely. Has anyone run into a similar issue? I'm running the game on an iPhone 4 with iOS 5.1.1.

Huh, bad luck on my part, I guess...

Is your device Jailbroken? Do you have something in settings for notification bar to drop when you swipe to the right?
If none of above why not update to ios 6.2?

Non-jailbroken device. I was actually just lazy and didn't want to update since I didn't want to re-sync my entire iPhone - I thought it would take forever.
I was finally fed up with this issue, though, and decided to go ahead and update, and it did solve the problem. And even the re-sync only took like 10 minutes.
