Buying monsters with prestige error?

Okay, Poe costs 12,000 prestige and I was saving up that amount.
By the time I got that and went to buy it, he prestige does not show up but instead sys buy for 50k silver.

Is this an error? I wanted to use my prestige points to buy it.

i know this is hard to learn,but the prestige on it means that your prestige need to reach the number before you can purchase it,and you have to cost the silver to own it

This is not an error, you cannot spend prestige points.

Once you reached the required prestige count, Poe "unlocks" and becomes purchasable. This is what you experienced.
