Ladder bug?

So, several of the people who play on server 26 have noticed that when we challenge people in the ladder, it will say that you won but right after you win It shows that you lose to that same person and the same time. Could it just a a coincidence or is it really a bug?

A ladder battle is instant. A win is determined literally as soon as you take the challenge. If someone has really good timing they could challenge you as soon as you challenge even though you're still in the battle.

This is indeed peculiar, since it's at the exact same second.
I haven't had this problem in my Server!

What they are saying is the minute you hit someone in ladder you the computer instantly determines if you won or lost.

When you challenge someone that person will be notified they lost instantly. Even while you are still watching the combat action.
In that time you are getting your jollies watching your monster beat down your opponent, that have already rechallenged you and beat you.

Infact while your still watching the battle, everyone on the server already knows if you won or lost before you do.

There is a bug and I've tested it. I attacked someone in ladder and during the battle I told someone to attack me. When the battle ended, it said we attacked each other at the same exact time even though we offset the attacks. So the one who attacked me jumped up to the player I beat's spot, I stayed in my place, and the one I beat fell all the way to the player who beat me's spot. This isn't to say people don't attack at the same second, it happened legitimately at least once or twice a day when I used to play ladder.

That's been happening since day 1, I've done it many times myself. I'd attack someone and someone will attack me as soon as I attacked the other player. They'd beat me and take the spot took. That's not a bug. The timer may not be a bug either, maybe it says the end time if the battle not the start, and they just beat you before you beat the other player. I still don't see any problems either way.

This is only speculating, but I know that most games that have Servers have save intervals.
For instance, the Server simply can't save the game every single second, and will do it every 3 seconds instead.
This way, it would be easier to understand why it appears like you both lost & won at the exact same second, while there are probably one or two seconds in between.
