New intimidate bug

Before when my Ignightmare went into combat it would cast intimidate and then go first. Unless it was against rhor.

Now it always go last after casting intimidate even against slow monsters like behomath. I think it's now considering intimidate as one turn.

Re: New intimidate bug

Hi,

I'm sorry but this was by design, your monster can only intimidate its opponnets when they are on the field.

Re: New intimidate bug

@Support
I think you should check the "design" and what is wrote in the description.

By "intimidate opponents are on the battlefield" counts both at when the opponents enter and I'm in the field, as well as when the opponent is in the field and I'm entering. Otherwise state "intimidate the opponents when you enter the battlefield." (Which would make another crappy skill, and not so fitted for "epic" monsters btw.)

Also, in this thread viewtopic.php?f=643&t=18465 Ailsa says that it was a mistranslation, and then that is a programming error, and that it will be changed in the description because is too hard to fix (I'm paraphrasing) but what was said is:

Hi, the Intimidate bug is due to the very structure of monster combat, so that is why the description will be changed while other options to tackle the issue are being weighed.

I think that all people on support should be on the same page, and do just one thing. Otherwise it just shows confusion and trying to cover your mistakes with rubbish. Also, as Krymor mentioned, you shouldn't be covering programming errors as "mistranslations."

Doing something in the game, doing it wrong, and then converting the buggy state in a default because "it is too hard to code it or fix it" is not a valid solution. Hire good programmers and most importantly good designers, and then start talking about the design and translation issues. Not the other way around.

So, all of support, please be in the same page. If you have crappy skills so be it! People that doesn't like it will leave the game and won't play, or would find things that suit their needs. But please, don't cover your mistakes, fix them!
