Replacing Skills

[EDIT] Seems like I'm on the late side, and Haypi already fixed this.

I've noticed that a Skill learned via a Skillbook gets overwritten by new Skills the monster learns on its own, it would be nice to able to reject this.
I'm fairly sure quite a few of you have wasted Skillbooks and/or Essences simply because you forgot the monster still needed to learn a skills.

My main priority would by Skill books only, but it might be a good idea just to be able to decide for yourself wether a new skill replaces the old one.

Opinions please!

For instance, if you learn a Level. 1 monster PoD, and when it reached 34, it learns another skill in the same slot, PoD gets replaced.

Since when? I was under the impression that skill books always had priority over learned moves?

I know in v 1.1-1.2 before I quit it was skill books trumped learned skills. So unless they changed it I thought it still was like that

Re: Replacing Skills

I agree with Lord.Rex. Once you teach your monster from a skill book, it prevents the monster from naturally learning skills in that slot. It prevented my Draco from learning Wild Fire since I taught it Foresight to replace Smack. I've been playing this game since 1.1, so I guess it was a bug? Haven't really heard the same thing happening to anyone else in my server.

Re: Replacing Skills

Guess I'll give it a shot with a Beginner Skill Book.
I'll come back to it later.

Re: Replacing Skills

I say they make it so you have an option where to put it and what to replace similar to Pokemon if you've ever played that. This game is really an iPhone version of Pokemon and I don't know why they would change how the monster learn new moves.
