A zoom in/out option would be nice for the levels, just saying.

Not sure if has been suggested before. Never bothered as much now. Just scroll around the map. It would be a nice feature though.

I had this idea in mind when I first started aswell.
However, when I got further into the game, I got accustomed to it.

I'd actually prefer to see more of the map, would give you a better impression of what you can expect.

You can already move around the map so that defeats the purpose
