Monster / Item Trading should not be allowed

As of now i see that this game is advancing slowly with great concepts, but with it comes imbalances that may result to the game's downfall. Here are the possible reasons on how it could happen:

1. New account registration is already allowed, meaning users can create a lot of multiple accounts. If server jump and trading would be enabled it would trigger creation a lot of multiple accounts and monster/item transfer that would very much disrupt server-to-player balance, all of the strong ones may transfer to newly released servers and dominate ladder to accumulate prestige repeat this process over and over and those players would be unbeatable.
2. Trading would incur off-the-game auctions, buy-off, or trading. I've been through a lot of MMORPG and have also participated in this real-money trading and would prefer for this not to happen in Haypi Monsters. Imagine, by persevering in this game you would eventually be able to breed an S grade monster, If trading is possible that player can sell that bred monster for real money. It would entail additional income for the player and none for the game and will further contribute to the imbalances of the game.
3. A team full of S Class Angelo or any other legendaries is much more unbeatable than Lupas, think Lupas are hard now? Wait for the Angelos if a server jump, unlimited account registration and trading is possible! The small time players wouldnt even have a chance even if they persevere as much as they can. Personally, if i can have those i would only sell those monsters for real money and not anything in-game!
3. Possibly ruin the harmony of the games especially if there'd be a lot of scammers or swindlers out there. I've witnessed scammers on a lot of MMORPGs and i have been scammed as well. Too frustrating!

I've seen a lot of games wherein the above mentioned are existent. I'm not trying to disrupt the flow of the the game's advancement but rather provide insights of scenarios that would affect players. If Haypi can solve th concerns that may arise then i think Trading would be a great idea! Here's why:

1. Introduce trade-based evolutions. Some of us may think this is a rip-off feature from Pokemon but what the hell? It's a good one!
2. Entice users to use game items/money/gold instead of real money outside the game. This would be benefecial to the players and the game itself. Keeping the game's economy intact is a must!
3. Maintain a harmonious and exciting game environment for those avid and addict fans of this game.

Here are some suggestions on how the cocerns may e addressed:

1. Limit the registrations to be made per device either through GameCenter ID, the device MAC Address or device ID or iTunes Account.
2. Introduce a marketplace where trades, offers or auctions can be made. The marketplace can be monitored by the game admins themselves.
3. If possible, create an identifier for the monsters generated under a user (possibly limit ID generation to C grade monsters up?). This would definitely be arduous for the game developers but it is a possible solution. I'm a database developer and i do know how that this task isnt given the volume and without the proper appliances or hardware machines to support the game.
4. Limit the count that a user may own per monster? Might be a bit harsh given that monsters are used to increase blessing. But, all the above mentioned are possible, imagine a team full of legendaries like an S Class Angelo?
5. Remove gender and grades for legendaries. If the above would occur and this would be implemented, an all legendary S class Angeloteam wouldnt materialize. And since, there is no gender or grade. Legendaries can be limited to just one!
6. Introduce trust level or anything that may be used to meter the credibility of a player either in-game or the forum itself
7. If trading is possible, gender, level and grade of the monster should be displayed or viewable. Nothing more frustrating than being scammed over and over!

Again, this are suggestions and maybe some pros and cons of monster trading and scenarios that may as well be attributed to trading itself. Most of you may not agree but i know this makes sense to those who love this game, to those who've been through a lot of imbalanced MMORPGs, to those who've previously used real money for virtual game benefits. But, let's face it this things may possibly occur in the future..

Dont you think??

Re: Monster / Item Trading should not be allowed

1) only one account can be registered per device, that has always been like that, so yea you can have multiple accounts but only with more than one device.
2) there are several posts discussing this topic already, id suggest seeing what these posts say and going building off those ideas as many are similar to what you said.
3)in all haypi games only 1 has trading and it is only in server, I doubt this one will be out of server trading if the only other one isn't.
4) even with multiple accounts the chances of getting one on the same server is rare, im probably one of the few who managed it, so that's not a concern

Re: Monster / Item Trading should not be allowed

I honestly don't think trading monsters is a good idea. Like you mentioned, new players could obtain legendaries and S grades, and players who are working hard at it will have nothing to show for it.

While I don't agree with trading monsters, I am in favour of a trading system with items. A lot of people in my server have crystal chests, but no key, I have a crystal key, but no chest. That also goes for people who have multiple scrolls but no catalysts. I'm sure people wouldn't go spending real money to get scroll or key over a monster. And let's face it, most of the players in this game are young kids, how would they wire money to anyone?

I like the idea about a marketplace though. Kind of reminds me of Maple Story, to be able to put items up and set your price and if someone likes it they'll grab it.
