Dying after winning

in pvp, ladder, and story mode if you die from burn, poison, recoil etc after killing the final enemy it counts as a draw which counts as a loss. that is not right at all. if I kill the enemy's monsters before they kill mine then I won, I don't want to lose because of a lucky debuff that happened 10 turns before, its totally unfair and just not right. I think it should be once the enemy team is eliminated then that's it.
Re: Dying after winning
If the debuff is there it should be considered. If you win by an inch or a mile the "advantage" is always given to the "defender" that means the person being challenged in ladder. As far as PVP it is a draw not a loss so no harm is done. I think this is right. If you are in a street brawl and you get shot and you shoot everybody else, if you're stranded bleeding out while everybody else is dead it doesn't matter that you're the last one alive--you're still dead.

Re: Dying after winning
astill draws don't give me honor lol. if support expects us to get 72,000 prestige for a unicorn and 14,400 for a book that will actually do something theyre gonna need to give us just a little slack now and then -.- and for ladder why not just call it a draw but let you keep going? if I only lost cause of a lucky poison or burn id at least want another chance. lets say it costs an attempt but you don't need to go on cooldown. that's fair no?
Re: Dying after winning
The point of the cooldown after a loss is to give your opponent a chance to change his line up as you perpare your monsters to attack his weaknesses. Without a cooldown it would give attacker an even larger advantage. (Without there being any alerts for ladder the chances of a person seeing that you've attacked in the 7 minute cooldown is basically 0 anyway).
Additionally, it's not really "luck" of poison/burn/whatever. They are a part of the game and moves. Your monsters get to use them against opponents same as opponents to you.

Re: Dying after winning
if I lose after killing their entire team then id say I already knew their lineup or got lucky with mine. in either case it wouldn't matter. and just cause something is part of a game doesn't mean its not lucky. dice rolls are part of the games but there are still good and bad ones and its all luck and probability. same for debuffs. this game is almost completely about luck

Re: Dying after winning
you forgot to mention the killing the entire team part. last I checked that's a win. what happens after shouldn't matter but for now it does, which is why this is in the suggestion thread. my suggestion was to change that to make it how it should be.
Re: Dying after winning
They killed your entire team too. you forgot to mention THAT part

Re: Dying after winning
yea, AFTER I killed them. in any other game its whoever kills who first. even if you die after you still get the win, so why not this one?
Re: Dying after winning
Well I'm not much of a gamer but I'm not so sure this would be true. Only other game I've ever played (like 8+ years ago now) was Runescape. And if you were PVP'ing there and killed somebody but died of poison, doesn't really matter much that you killed them first you still die and lose your stuff too.
