When Light of Justice is Cast, all of the monsters in the Field that has the Power of Darkness buff will have their POD buff remove.

Then add effects for POD that when cast , will remove Light of Justice Buffs of monsters in play.

Was thinking about this power of light…

I like the idea of a psychic counterpart to pod, but it kind of seems false, that it does the same as pod – boosting stats –, but is the exact opposite at the same time (light/darkness).

My suggestion: let it do the opposite. Let it reduce the stats of the enemy monster by 50%. And it works like this: it stays on your monster like an aura and debuffs the opposing monster on resolution. And whenever an enemy monster enters, it also gets the debuff.

Its name would be something like "aura of authority".

It would be stronger than pod (since a poded monster would stay at 75% of its normal stats), suck against inverse and be brocken with wind blast.

It seems op if its a continuous effect and 50% is a big chunk.
In my opinion, make it as simplest as possible. Not need to make it stronger than Pod, just make an equivalent of it. Have both have the same effects, not stack, and make it so that both skills can't be used together (i.e. Minotaur with both light and dark). If we're talking about psychics vs ghosts, they're not balanced to begin with. Creating a psych version of pod would just cancel the advantage of ghosts. And dividing the darkness and light(ness?) into offensive and defensive stat boost seem a little weak for an advanced skill. Just one plus from molten core in this case.

This would nerf Power of Darkness and give a new way to built your monster and try another tactic like taunt-tank-pewgwey or something else

I still like this suggestion. I think the 50% stat decrease would be too weak since it only goes to one monster, unless the skill could be used repeatedly in which case it would be extremely op.

I also just had a new thought about this idea, generally the dark side ignores later consequences for immediate power. The light side generally gains power over time. So maybe pod buffs could start off as usual but lose a little strength each turn, and the light counterpart could start off with weak buffs but gain a little strength each time. Of course there would have to be limitations but I'd like it to stay with the whole light vs dark idea.

I agree that a Light vs Dark idea would be nice, however, I think your suggestion would just create more stalling in matches and bring forth more raging people :?.

Yea I figured, that's why I said there needs to be limitations. Like pod can't decrease past original stats and light can't increase past pod buffs. It would still probably promote stalling but I think it's literally impossible to have more. Idk about your servers but s1 is awful with the stalling tactics already.

Our Server has no tactiques whatsoever, we're still in the Stone Age.
We go full hodor against each others :lol:.
