I should really start completing Deadly Desert Expert to catch my own Needles ...

Just out of curiosity, how much % damage does Thorn-III do approximately? I never had any real experience with Thorn .

from my observation, maybe around 40 to 50% of the total hit done by the enemy on needles hp...

I don't think there's any counter to a team of 4x Needles with Thorn-III and 4x Photosynthesis/Soak ...

S needles i think somewhat same on devils stat but higher in hp and def
