Gryph

An old subject to be sure, but I need the recipe for component monsters. I know it's neons and rhors, but which has the lvl 50? Also, is it possible to save 400 boss essence and use for two scrolls to attempt a breeding pair? Has anyone bothered trying this?

Level 50 Rhor, x2 lvl 40 Rhor, x2 lvl 40 Neon. Yes you can get a breeding pair of Gryphs. One person on my server did take the effort to get a breeding pair.

I have a breeding pair of Gryphions myself.
I've noticed that, if you want a high chance of getting the gender you want, you have to use the opposite gender to synthesize.
For instance, if you want a Male Gryphion, you'd want to get two Female Neons and three Female Rhors.
Vice versa for Female Gryphion.

I've found this doesn't work, I used all females for my Setanic and still got a female. I find the best way is to wait until you have had a run of one gender from breeding, then the odds of the opposite gender when synthing are increased

There have been more people telling me the exact same thing, and the peculiar thing is that it works exactly opposite for me.
Synthesizing two Scrolls in a row doesn't give me a larger chance to get the opposite gender. As a matter of facts, I've gotten 4 Females in a row while testing this for my Guide.
Guess it works for some, but doesn't for others .

Scrolls work like this, you are guaranteed a breeding pair if you acquire the scrolls by the same means. Gender of ingredients aren't a factor so if you buy two gryphon scrolls or hippo then you will get a breeding pair. But if you get a scroll from say this event then you aren't guranteed a pair. Like I said in my previous posts, it works exactly the other way for me .
I have used both methods to test this for my Guide, and when I used several synthesis scrolls in a row, I got four Females.
However, repeating the same with the gender method, I got exactly the results I was looking for.

Our group have tested is thoroughly and that's the way it works for us. Have you ever heard of someone getting same gender gryphons? That rule has never failed us haha
