Blinking world map

Anybody know what it means when some areas in the world map are blinking?

I am not 100% sure of this, but it appears to be when you have either unfinished Veteran/Expert levels on that map.
However, I can't say this for sure, because I only have Barren Land blinking, which is the only Expert world I haven't completed yet .

Confirmation will be needed.

Icic. Frm ur speculation I chked it and it seems that u are correct. I noticed that my Jungle's shield badge thing was blinking telling me I have an uncompleted Veteran mode level while the whole area of my Stone Vault is blinking cause I haven't finished normal mode yet

Ah alright.
That means it isn't for Veteran/Expert only, but simply indicates if you have unfinished maps!
I like your questions, they're refreshing ! Better than the usual ''What's the best build for X?''.

It indicates where your quest is atm.

Yea but only maps which are in MAIN TASK are blinking.
I checked this out today - chaotic swamp and barren land are blinking but frozen cavern not but i still have some exp levels to do but again its only a Branch task.
I noticed only symbol of that level icon next to chaotic swamp is blinking but barren lands symbol not instead of this the island of barren land is blinking.
Idk if there is a design bug or it has to be that way and it means sth ^^

Weird

mine still blinking at barren land map even i have finished all levels....
all main task also finished...
only left 2 branch task - elite friend 4 and invite friend 3 ...
