Re: Leviatan rain power matk built
This is more of a trivia, but Rain Power-MATK can be stacked.
I've killed a Rhor with unupgraded Sewage by stacking Rain Prayer 5 times, no PoD involved
!
I have Rain Power-MATK aswell, and I'm following the following build:
Talent : Rain Power-MATK
Skills : Power of Darkness, Rain Prayer, Water Torrent, Water Bombs.
Power of Darkness and Rain Prayer are obvious. Water Torrent should eventually be upgraded to +5, to benefit the most from it.
I chose to get Water Bombs, an ATK skill, mainly because I didn't want to be fully dependant on Rain.

Re: Leviatan rain power matk built
Isn't Water Torrent a physical Skill too?
They just didn't change the description.
I think you should try to change the talent if you don't want to depend on sevage and whirlpool.

Re: Leviatan rain power matk built
Thank you.
Now you always have to do the math if bombs or torrent is hiting your opponent harder

Obviously, with Rain Power-MATK and Torrent being stronger naturally, it will always hit harder unless your opponent has extremely low DEF.
Re: Leviatan rain power matk built
Yeah, i was talking about the case if you don't have rain power matk or even have rain power atk.
And the unless might apply to Gryphion.
At lvl 60 it has about 110 Def but 185 MDEF.
Never mind i'm just fooling around.

Just keep using Rain Prayer.
I often do this when I'm against a monster I have an elemental advantage over.
They switch to another monster while I cast Rain, giving me the possibility to 1hit them
