Boulder vs Iajutsu on a scythe or minotaur

I've seen a lot of scythes (particularly def boost scythes) with iajutsu.

Wondering how iajutsu stacks up against boulder without the benefit of STAB.

If Iajutsu hits then damage is roughly the same from what I can tell of the damage calc.

Re: Boulder vs Iajutsu on a scythe or minotaur

Iaijutsu = 58 * 2 = 116 Attack
Boulder = 90 * 1.5 = 135 Attack

Boulder is slightly stronger without any side effects happening.
However, keep in mind that Iaijutsu has double the chance of having a critical hit.
On the other hand, Boulder can stun, giving you an extra turn and possible double damage.
Finally back on track and ready to help you guys :D!

Assuming he's talking about going against water and grass, iaijutsu is the better choice. Obviously boulder is better against electric and neutral types, but remember the 50% deduction for boulder against grass and water. Iaijutsu remains at 116, but boulder is reduced to 67.5.
