Punishment vs. sts

Rain weather, PoD, adapt neon. Sts does insane damage as we all know under those conditions, as neon potentially can be one of, if not, the hardest single hit monster in the game. Is it better to use punishment on another PoD'd monster over Sts? At which point will the skill punishment outdo sts in those conditions, if ever.

Just curious if its worth putting on a neon~ thanks

I think Punishment would only outdamage STS in this case if it's attacking an Earth type monster.
I wouldn't risk going for it though, the opponent might decide to take you out in 1hit with Massive Boulder instead going through all the effort of PoDing, this kinda makes Punishment no more like any other 60 Attack skill .

Keep in mind that any debuff cancels the buff effect of pod on punishment. Using punish against a pod monster that is paralyzed seems to be even weaker than a 60 power skill, even on meniss. I really hated punish on my rhor, without the stab and huge matk of ghost monsters it's pretty useless.

Well how about editing the same question with another attack, say, mind bending, or aurora. With or without PoD against a rock monster. Would a rain pod adapt sts still be better vs a rock then those two attacks? For the most part (haven't tested it on mino or setanic) STS will two hit or one hit a rock monster under those conditions, would a MATK skill do any better?

I wouldn't suggest punishment on neon, though I don't have experience on neon with punishment, but i have tried punishment with a chimera and the result is basically embarrasing

Punishment on Electric monsters are only useful on pod rock monsters or psychics otherwise not so much

Never use punishment on neon, etc. only meniss and verte and maybe fenrir.
Meniss and stuff will dish out enormous amounts of damage but never put Cunning and punishment together. Punishment - for severs spilling with PoD users, Cunning - All rounder and everything
If you put both together, then in ladder, it might Cunn, then Punish causing it to do much less damage.

Actually. It works quite well on M Force Rhor upgrade it 1-2 times and it's all good

Other than Mforce rhor i forgot but mind bending is better coz not much pod scythes i mean would you kill a rhor with boulder or m boulder or waste a turn with PoD? If scythe has def boost then its alrite i guess but mind bending is still better.
