Ppl say if doesn't work if the monster is slower than you. How does that work?

Do I have to cast it before I get hit or after I get hit?

If the enemy goes first and hits me, and then I cast magic shield. Does he shield last until i get hit or is it gone at the end of the round?

I assume that waterspout works like magic mirror/shield. The way water spout works is it needs to be used after your monster gets hits. If your monster uses water spout first, no animation will happen and even if you do get hit later in the turn, damage wouldn't be reflected. So it'll only work if, at the time you are using waterspout, you were hit in that round. Though this is just based on the assumption that waterspout works identical to magic mirror/shield. I may be completely wrong.

Personally I believe that magic mirror/shield, waterspout, and snowflakes should get less priority, like cunning.

You must cast it first before getting hit.
And no, It doesn't last until you get hit.

With them only available to Epic/Legendary Psychics,
Only Felicity can use it at full potential
Angelo in the lower tiers
And would be a waste on Purrfection.

BTW, it is upgradeable at level 52 and I'm hoping that it makes the moves First Priority at +1.

Oh wow I was so wrong. I like it better like this. Do you need to survive the hit for the damage to be reflected back, like if I use Magic Shield and a Neon used Super Thunderstorm and kills me, will Magic Shield still reflect the damage back? Oh and can you give more information about upgrading it. Even if you haven't, can you tell me if upgrading it is a little out of norm, does it require more/less resources as usual?
