planning to breed up a clawpard . any suggestions for skills?
Re: skills for clawpard?
If you're going to have frost aura III as the talent have pod, snowflakes, aurora, and ice beam. If you're going to have mf III have snowflakes, aurora, ice beam, blizzard.
With mf III it's all about pure damage, sneopard is strong so pod is optional with this talent, use ice beam first to lower the enemy's mdef. If the enemy attacks you and deals serious damage use snowflakes next turn, if they don't use either aurora or blizzard depending on if they do some or no damage.
With fa III pod is again optional, but suggested. This talent is all about dealing kamikaze/last ditch damage, as much as you can when low on health. Again use ice beam to lower mdef and then either snowflakes or aurora depending how much damage was done. You'll go first against many monsters so if you have pod use it instead of ice beam.

Unfortunately this isn't how snowflakes works. It only works if you get hit first in that turn. Wasted a pod on chunky because I misunderstood that :/

Really? That's dumb. Eh I guess it'll still be nice to have as long as you're facing a faster opponent. Maybe in ladder where some monsters may be a higher level? If not just replace snowflakes with either another aurora or absolute zero

Re: skills for clawpard?
There's no mf3 on clawpord

Yea my bad. Meant mf II. Same basic principal though

Re: skills for clawpard?
You want pod with FAIII, you will be faster and take less damage per hit giving you much higher chances of actually getting to use FAIII without dying. Otherwise you will take too much damage per hit and are likely to die without FAIII triggering and even if you do get below 30% you might not even go first and did before landing an attack.
Re: skills for clawpard?
clawpard doesnt need snowflakes at all, else u want to waste 1 skill slot. Snowflakes is only for chunky. Whether its MF 2 or FA 3 the build is the same i think.
POD, blizzard, Aurora, Avalanche.

Re: skills for clawpard?
I'd argue Chill over Avalance, but my Clawpard still has all its basic skills
