I think most people will get it around 2500 gold.

It's a normal distribution, with median around 2500.

Getting it with one egg or 110 eggs are both very rare

I do think that a reduction is a must. 110 eggs is just way, way, way too many.

Think of it like this: while you're spending the 300$ that you spent on solely for a single monster and not getting anything good, others are actually enjoying the ownership of 300$, namely Haypi.

I feel the same way. I don't find this 'safety net' much of it.

I don't know how they arrived to this value because it wasn't well thought out.

It would be better if the Orange Eggs don't reward Common/Uncommon monsters but seeing as you get these 90% of the time (slight exaggeration), there's no redeeming value to it. You do get Life Essences but it's not much use when you don't need most of them.

I would think this is Haypi trying to put hard limits on "chances" like they have in the past with the 50/50->60/40->70/30 etc odds of opposite gender breeds and now, from what I have heard, opposite genders when synthing.

Which would imply a 1% chance to get a Legendary out of an egg with a hard limit on 100 total (1% chance on first 99 cracks, 100% chance on 100th crack probably resetting with each Legendary received and/or during each Legendary switch).

Don't base yourself getting fenrir on this "safety net". Because I can tell you this. It didn't make me any happier finally getting Fenrir when I hit the net. Too much money.
