The issue is, penetrate used to deactivate invalidate, but that was a bug.
However, people are not aware of the fact it is a bug.
Because the description is vague, how to determine which talents are defensive...I don't buy it. I don't think that was a bug.

I think this is intentionally changed in this update.

That's just crap. Penetrate is as useful as Laziness than.
Also this make POD less valuable.

In terms of your original question. Firebombs is pretty good since there is a lot of Fen's around at the moment.

I have to disagree i still found penetrate Verte for one of the best pvp monsters . I wish i had one

Some ideaquestions:
How much pp does swindle take away? A swindle/pressure combo with the pp "improvements" may be able to take monsters out in one turn if they run out of pp. Especially since people are now using two 120 power skills on one monster since they only have 3 pp.

Is punishment ghost-only? It doesn't say so, but apparently vengeance is physical-only and it doesn't say that either. Anyway, I'd give it to a fast monster who can use it before your opponent uses pod.

Personally, I'd try to get hypno jinx for the currently-paranormal barrier verte, and replace aurora with dream thief. Hypno is supposed to activate more now and dream thief is awesome.
