I just got penetrate on my hipoggon.
My question
1) Is the talent good enough in ladder & pvp?
2) The description of talent - Cut through your oppenent's protective mystery talents and damage-prevention barriers.
Does it means if my hippo is in the battle fields, all the opponent monster's talent will not be activate?
e.g : An invalidate neon, hippo jinx, addapt?

1.) Yes, it is. It's one of the most sought after talents of Hippogon. It prevents certain talents from working and is definitely a good choice.

2.) It will not prevent ALL talents from activating. It will only prevent protective and damage prevention barriers.
For example, Resurrect is a protective talent (as it protects you from dying during the turn it's activated) so it will prevent this from activating. It should also allow Power of Darkness and other stat increasing skills to work - there might be a bug with this at the moment but it should work. It will also cancel out the effect of Armor 2, DEF boost, etc.

It's definitely worth it.

Thanks for the reply! So frenzied atk or lajutsu is suitable for this talent?

Frenzied Attack really only goes great with Technician 2 as the talent.
Iaijutsu is far more reliable and with the upgrade system, it benefits the most out of all the skills.
As it hits twice almost everytime, it gets an added 10 power from each upgrade.
I recommend Iaijutsu if you are going to use this talent.
