Do you think there should be more "cross elements."

I was suprised to find out that any lightning monster can learn ice moves. I reported it as a bug but then Support said it was intentional, and that ice can also learn lightning moves. To my knowledge they can't. But what are two types that you think should be able to use each others moves? Like I would have like ice and water types to learn each others moves.

I never noticed lightning types and ice types could learn each others skills haha Anyways, I think it would be cool if lightning and fire could learn each others moves
Don't know why but it kinda sounds like a good combo lol

i wouldn't like to see that fire monsters will easily beat water monsters that way

Yeah haha >_< Didn't think about that until I posted.. Perhaps things may be best how they are as far as cross element thingies ^__^
Re: Do you think there should be more "cross elements."
Anyone know why this was allowed? Is it because Electric and Ice don't share any elemental advantages/weaknesses?
Because I put Aurora Borealis on my Neon and so far it is pretty fantastic, beating out Iajutsu for a non-electric move to use against Rock and as an added bonus of being around ~10% better than Super Thunderstorm with Adapt against Plant.
Of course with Rain and any damage boosting talent STS would be better than Aurora vs Plant but the move is primarily for using on Earth monsters anyway.

Because all other elementals have 2 elemental advantages this balances it out
Re: Do you think there should be more "cross elements."
Yes but that means they only have one elemental weakness and two elemental advantages, sounds like a deal. Even if they only get Stab on one of them.
Re: Do you think there should be more "cross elements."
The way it sits now. There is no way to add 2 elemental disadvantages to it without giving another mob 3 elemental advantages.
They might fix it in later patches when more elements are introduced.

It will come in V 2.0.

Following pokemon's precedent they have the ability to add several new types (steel, flying, etc) to balance it out. They could even add dual types as Pokemon did. Question is, will the game make it that far? Probably not.
