Why is thunder so overpowered?

What do you think?
1 Neon can kill 4 variety lvl 50 S Monster?
I would say that this is a little bit unbalanced.
If there won't be any changes, i'll just go for 4 Neons and i'll be unbeatable?

Maybe to force players to breed more earth types since they are not built mainly as nukers?

Actually that forces players to make thier own thunder monster to show that he is better than others , at least that is what i did to challenge the high ranks on the server !

Re: Why is thunder so overpowered?

It's true, Electric type monsters seem to be the strongest out of all the Elemental types. There are clear counters, though. Obviously, Rock-types will be able to defeat pretty much any Electric type.
I have no idea how your opponent's Neon managed to kill all your monsters, though. I'm guessing your opponent had Power of Darkness? If yes, then, this is pretty much the same as for other monsters. A Smiter that has casted Power of Darkness will be able to defeat a whole team, apart from a team that has obvious counters for it and that the team does not use Power of Darkness.
I suggest just breeding Scythe to defeat Neon, my one does not have any problems with. I can also tell you that if you summon Sandstorm in battle, the opponent's moves usually misses (from my own experience).

Good luck!

Re: Why is thunder so overpowered?

sandstorm :)

like you said with sandstorm and a powerful rock type like behemoth, a neon even with adapt and pod could die before wiping out an entire team in ladder.
