What is STAB?

Title says it all. And you guys have never led me astray before

Same Type Attack Bonus, a bonus to damage for using a skill that matches your monsters element.

So while a Physic monster can use Fire skills, it gets a boost (50% I believe) to skills that match its element, namely Psychic skills in this case.
