What are stages in the stats?
What is the meaning of stage? and how do you compute them? do a certain amount of points in a stat define a stage, and each stage is the one that counts towards the power?

So the stage is just made by the community? mmm.. how do you know that PoD doesn't increase the stats by two stages instead of one? trial and error? or just guessing?
I still think we need numbers in the descriptions of the skills and talents...

"Slightly" - 1 Stage
"Significantly" - 2 Stages
"Immensely" - 3 Stages
If it doesnt specifically mention how much the stat change will be, it will be slightly/1 stage.
From what I can guess about the actual damage boost, each stage is probably 50% since that seems to be the amount for STAB and elemental advantage boosts.
For Technician and Adaptability talents, they either provide a partial stages worth of boost, or a flat rate boost to the total damage (like +10 damage regardless of attack damage) because the increase is fairly minimal in my experience.
Although Im curious about my Smiter's, am I better off with Overgrow III (which pretty much 1-hit KOs everything I hit when it is triggered) or Force II for more consistent damage.

I have force on my smiter, its nice but it doesnt feel like its as strong as say adapt on draco. On the other hand, I never had overgrow, but I have been hit with it! WOW! but how reliable is overgrow? Like you said force is more consistent, but its also Atk, so the Matk skills dont get boosted.
