My Flight with Unbending + PoD defeats a Vertedeath. Most of the time, Poison Leaves also does the Poison debuff so that helps a ton.

Without the MDEF decrease, Vertedeath doesn't do nearly as much damage against my PoD-ed Flight.

However, the Vertedeath I'm facing does not have PoD. If it does have PoD, Vertedeath will win.

I was just saying a buddy of mine that the reason I love Cunning is for the MDEF drop. Even if your current monster can't kill it with Cunning, the next will have an easier time than normal.

it depends on vertedeaths tallen..
with mf3 + cunning vertedeath will win even if flight uses pod
with hypno jinx if its not trigerd vertedeath is a dead bone
