They are both epic monsters. I have an a grade pewgway so wondered whether it was worth the seal cards, money and time to get another epic water monster. What I you think?

Yes I think he's really worth it he's very good. i find pewgway very easy to beat even sometimes with draconius.
He's totally worth the seal cards and money!

They're two different monsters, I guess its up to yor playing style.. Are you the aggressive type who want to finish your enemy as soon as possible or are you do you like supporting/tanking enemy damage??
Basically, Cygness is best used as an offensive type though he has a decent stat on MDEF and DEF.. Cygness shines most in dealing massive amounts of damage!! In my experience, The enemy's Cygness w/ Adaptability OHKOed my S Vertedeath w/ Water Torrent after it casted PoD + Rain Prayer.. Talk about massive damage??!! Oh BTW, Cygness is also one of the most versatile and flexible monsters in-game and provides a really good team synergy!!
On the other hand we have Pewgway w/ Taunt w/c provides a very very good wall in 2v2 in helping your teammate to setup / power up their monster!! A completely set up Pewgway can diminish the opponents attack while you and your partner may possibly not take any damage at all!! We also have the Resurrection type which also provides a good vanguard for your lightning monsters on Ladder.. Given the right set of skills, it might help you ensure a win in Ladder and possibly in PvP!!
So your choice?? My suggestion is base it on your playing style

+1 on what Swift said - it really depends on what you want your Water monster to be used as. Both monsters have advantages over the other and I would refer you to Swift's post for most of those highlighted.
Good luck!

While they do have different niches they fill, like the others say, unless you do not have monsters that you want to breed you shouldn't use your time breeding another epic water monster. I personally think you should have an epic monster of each element before going back to breed another epic monster of the same element. And same goes for catching it, if there are other monsters that you have yet to catch by the cave then you should focus on them and not Cygness.
This is all my opinion, it depends on what you prioritize to do.

Re: Is cygway loads better than pewgway?
I personaly finished makng my S pewgway yesterday , why did i pick it over cygness ?
Its nust for me that i made an S rhor and i wanted to make a use of it on pvp so u know with rain rhor is great , and i think pewgway really does the job very well , if u give it water bombs and a sharp claw and maybe POD , u will get super attacks and super awesome defence , i didnt choose cygness ? Cuz it die from 1 hit from a rhor/neon as i know from pvp , but for reall it is still awesome and great attacks , u decide ur flavor at the end :3

Most of what u need to know has been writen in the post, but il summerize in short.
Cygness is offensive style, water monster, can dish more dmg then pegway espacilly with the right talents.
in stats, it got better ATK and MATK the pewgway.
Pewgway is more defensive/consistent dmg water monster, it cant deal the dmg cygness do, but it can absorb much more punishment, and even can win against a grass monster with rain prayer.
In stats pewgway got better Speed, DEF, MDEF and HP then cygness.
an should follow clad's advice, focus on getting the monsters u r lacking need to S grade rather then focus on another element monster that u already have (S grade), especially if u need to blow alot of seal cards to get it.
