Monster Combo ideas?
1. How about a glider/sally combo?
Glider with rain summoning (not sure if it'd last the entire game or until death, but in the case I'm talking about, it does last forever unless changed with another element) with poison petals to deal with rock types that would kill a sally. Being a rare neutral type, it should have high defense, like most rares do. It's rain summoning talent would increase buffs for water and electric types and reduce fire and rock.
Sally with electric barrier would protect it from other electric types who would get the rain buff and have a Force talent, murder water types and can probably deal with anything else after getting rain buff and if hit by electric type. If a rock type is still alive at this point, the rain debuff would make it weaker and sally, being stronger now than normal, would possibly have a chance to defend itself. If you can paralyze and stop their attacks, if you're lucky enough, with a lightning bolt or something, even better!
Pros: I think it's a really good combo. Make your other monsters stronger, and lightning, right now, only has one disadvantage, which your glider can probably deal with (hopefully. I can check later!). It also doesn't give any advantage to those pesky ghost, psychic or neutral types (Yeah, all you meniss, shriek, lupa, champ and flight users who have an army of 'em out there, I'm talking to you!)
Cons: Weak skills since both are rares. Also, sally is a magic monster. As far as I know, the only magical lightning skill I know is lightning strike and I'm not even sure if sally can use it! (Hope it's intermediate, because I would really love to try out a sally/glider combo).

Respect yourself enough to walk away from anyone or anything that no longer serves you, grows you or makes you happy.
