Supplementary Skills

Do supplementary skills receive a boost when paired with like elemental monsters like Attack skills do??

For Example: Would there be a difference between putting Meditation (psychic) on Purrfection (psychic) than Molten Core (fire)??

I have power of darkness on Neon and Meniss. I don't see any different.
Not sure about other skills though

I asked this same question with the same example a little while ago and didn't get a definite answer lol I've been observing and experimenting a little though and I think it might not make a difference. For example, healing moves heal the same % regardless of the elemental combination. Since they're supplementary skills just like buff/debuff skills, I'd assume the same goes for all supp skills.

But soak works off by adding a percentage (%), I don't think skills like meditation work the same way. I had molten core on my purrfection first but then change to meditation once I got it being under the impression it had a synergistic effect being like skills with like monsters. How can we get a clear cut answer to this question??

In my experience the same supplementary skill that affects status doesn't make any different whether you use it on the matched element monster.

In your case, maybe it's because it's not the same skill. or maybe it actually has the different. or it's just you feeling it.

I know this answer doesn't help much. but in my experience i'd say no different.
