it's not doing 300 dmg at your full health anyway.
i used it with my full health Scythe. Couldn't kill anyone with one hit.

If you think about it, scythe with boulder would get 180 damage with stab, so 360 or 270 or however it's calculated against electric or fire. So self sacrifice is really only useful on normal types when they don't have an attack with an advantage over the element they're facing, since normal doesn't have an advantage over anyone.

i got one today too, from expert miracle sea. I wonder if I let a ghost type use it, would it still "sacrifice"? similar to how infliction/kamikaze does no harm to them.

If what we're thinking is true, then, it's worth it.

Martyrdom is the adv form and has 400 attack power, I've got 1 of each. Been seeing them on the prize wheels a lot lately. Only rock monsters can learn this skill.
