Supplementary skills

So when you use an attack of the same type as your monster, you get stab. Does it work the same way with supplementary skills? For example, would water beads heal a water type more than a normal type? And meditation and molten core both raise matk and mdef, but is molten core better for fire and meditation better for psychic?

I don't think so.
When I face flights in arena they seem to heal as much as oog with soak.
