I love my luck

I encountered a Cygness in veteran canyon 9 and caught it! Not only that but, even if it had a 2% chance of capture, I caught it with my third seal card. Oh the catalyst for Thor was in my spin even though it was veteran mode.
Cygness is an epic monster and it is the last of two evolutions.

Edit: Oops misinformation. I caught it in veteran canyon 10 not 9.

Just a question, do you have to land on a particular tile to "meet" the monster or is it one those required to fight tiles and the option to capture is just there?

I had to land on it. I just used a loaded dice. And does anyone know if you can catch a Felicity in a similar way? Some guy on my server got it somehow even though no one has enough prestige yet.

Edit: It also doesn't need a catalyst despite being an epic.

Tiles that look like caves have monster inside them that you can catch. They are typically 1-5% percent chance of capture. For this monster however, when it had like 17 HP it still was a 2% chance to capture.

I think they put the cave like thing like in experts mode where you can get epic using seal cards
