please help a newbie.

Can somebody point me in the direction of a guide or wiki page with all the info on how to successfully play this game. i feel like such a noob asking any questions on here, but this forum is not exactly the best way to learn how to play this game. I only realize how far behind i am and i cant find anywhere to read up on how to play.

What server are you on? maybe someone active on forums thats on same server can give you pointers ingame
