Is champ any good?

Hi,

anyone tried breeding champ to around A grade and used him? how far worse is champ compared to flight? I would love to go for flight but I don't have enough coins and chimp scrolls are so much easier to get. Just hope to hear from some in case I waste my time breeding something weak haha.
any advice will be appreciated!

honestly the only stat he has that's better than flight is his hp. everything else is either the same or way lower. flight can learn any move though, champ cant cause hes only rare not epic
