Veteran Mode, Help?

So I'm on Miracle Sea Veteran Mode 4 or 5 right now, and I'm having some trouble getting through -maybe it's my team, maybe I'm just unlucky xD. The team I use when I go through it is:

Fright - 27
Lupa - 28
Branchy - 23
Draconius - 29

Right now I am training both my Lupa and Branchy and I have Dumbell and Bracer for battle exp. Anyways my question is what should I do to my team to be able to go through with ease? I can try and get any Monster I need in order to beat it. And another quick question, where can I get the spin for a Crystal Chest?

Re: Veteran Mode, Help?

You can use more jellies or combat jellies if you think that would help. Another thing would be to find a level you can auto-command on and just repeat that dozens of times gaining a level or 2 on all your monsters. You could use loaded dice to avoid battles and land on chests/buffs.

Haven't seen a crystal chest yet in the spinner, I heard they can be found in expert mode though (possibly team sealed space, not sure about that one though)

Make sure to teach flight an electric move too if you haven't. And if you can teach Draco spirit channel (and shadow claw if you can get your hands on it) then that'll do more than fire moves especially against crusty and Shelly

Re: Veteran Mode, Help?

Just did a round of water vet, my fright could practiclly solo the place, but it could be because it's S class, level 33. I'd recommend just leveling them up a bit more. 30s could breeze you through vet mode imo (or atleast that's how I went about it).

Do you use coins? If not, the free revival cards you get each day are handy too. Not to mention way cheaper.

What I used to do when I had a tough time was use my monsters at an elemental disadvantage first, so as long as they did even a bit of damage and died, I could summon my monster at advantage to 1 hit ko them, since normally mine was faster than them. Then at the boss, id do it even if branchy was the only one living. if i died, the free revival cards ensured me 100% victory being at full health everything. The branchy and fright are probably enough to solo bosses as long as the minions ahead of said boss are dealt with first, and try to be at full health when you fight the boss. Buy potions in the discount shops though because they're kinda costly both silver and gold wise.

Re: Veteran Mode, Help?

Train up that lupa more too. Lupa, like are psychic types, are good against water types cause they usually have low mdef. Also lupa can learn other elemental moves, so a lupa with a move like poison petals would be good to have
