So for this art contest, the winner only gets one plantasaurus? Not a breeding pair? And what grade is it? Seems like a let down.

Rather if it is a D or E grade then the 1000 coins are better, but considering this is a cheap way for Haypi to make content without paying an artist they could at least include a male and female for the winners. Who is really the spoiled one here if an actual artist could make decent money from this with another company?

Ok sorry for being critically and have a own opinion... i dont ruin her wtf... i guess she is saying:"haters gonna hate", its only MY OPINION.
its a great talent to draw like this.

I think it's harder to imagine a new monster after seeing many because you end up copying them. For your second drawing of "Elise" I doubt Haypi will take it as League is a really well known game and they probably won't want to get into a lawsuit with Riot Games.

i dont think haypi has any issue copying others' works.

just take a look at our draco... straight from.pokemon
The modified version is even more close to Charizard

Well, there are only so many ways you can create a monster.
and Pokemon has pretty much done everything.
As long as I plagiarize at the same lv Haypi does, im ok. haha

There as no such thing as "only so many ways to create a monster." That's like saying, there are so many musicians, the only way to create more music is to plagiarize other musicians.

As an artist, especially one competing for a "create YOUR OWN" monster, you should feel ashamed having to plagiarize other artists even if you can get away with it legally.

I for one am going to be participating if time allows me to with my work schedule and will not be copying anyone's artwork.

I'm very disappointed in most of the artwork I have seen thus far as many have been copying games or shows. -smh.

I do HIV research in a lab....I just draw randomly and never learnd how to paint....Nor that i wanted to take classes either. Im just enjoying doing sth different than my studies.

If you wanna go and toss around titles like that I'll take you on. I'm a practicing doctor with a degree from Columbia University.

I am no artist either but what I am discussing is not about artistic skill. I am talking about your ETHICS. Not once did I mention your artwork in particular either. I was mentioning in general the mindset the majority of the participants have which is "it is okay to plagiarize because Haypi apparently does so." Plagiarism is NEVER okay. Ever.

seriously though arguments are fun. Especially when some kid calls you a racist so you call his entire country a bunch of greedy transvestites and it's technically true. Days like that are pretty fun..... It's the little things.
