this built is very interesting although still has a lot of weakness. i think verte pressure with foresight, double soak, and pod will do better. dont u think? it just my opinion i dont have pressure verte yet.

lol my server (server 34) have skel 4 pressure in ladder

Is this talent considered a defensive skill? If so, then does Penetrate bypass its effect?

Yes, Thorn is bypassable by Penetrate.

Oh I see...so line-ups that end with Penetrate Hippo or Verte can easily defeat this.

Anyways, it's still a pretty decent build. I would not consider it cheap since it is practically a build built around a talent most people consider useless. It is a good build although, like always, there are ways to easily counter it.

I usually don't build a monster with more than 8 offensive moves, so this could soak its way through outlasting my Penetrate Hippo.

Yes of course.

"penetrate" and "pressure" can easily counter this build.

Thanks anyway for the input.

Cheers :D

So let's say its down to Hippo against a Levi left in the ladder. Hippo is out of PP in any of its skills and the same can be said with Levi. Sooo...it ends in a stalemate? What happens after? I have never seen a situation go down to this lol.

Actually hippo will win.
Levi pp total only 3x4=12.
But hippo at least should have 90 power skill with 5pp. Even though the attacking skill run out of pp, hippo should have supplementary (Pod for example) to cast. At the end, hippo still win.

That's the same reason why I mentioned that this Levi will lose to monster that have "low power many pp skills" like "smack" or "pyro blast" or "wildfire" etc.

Oh I see..so it goes down to who runs out of PP first lol. With only 3 PP per soak, that's a big problem even if you had POD with it haha

Anyways, the build you have for Thorn talent is still good nevertheless. It's a good way to make use of it.

Re: A very good Leviathan build (tested)

I say leave a Full Stomach on there, it stacks and ha 10 pp when you can't Soak anymore you just Full Stomach your way to near-invincibility.

It'll save you unless they have a 50 power move that lowers your MDEF or raises their MATK, I don't think there are ad 50 power moves that affect ATK/DEF.
