PvP Weekly Rewards - Too Much?

When I said lower rewards I meant lowering from 100 to 50 will give less people incentive to pvp. Which is valid.

You guys could be right it might ruin it or you could be wrong and the pvp rooms full of people. Right now it's just a matter of opinion.

It is exactly the same as the PvP Championships. It's just that there are most stakes this time.

I'm saying that it's invalid because the 100 gold coins reward isn't even implemented yet. You don't know that yet since it hasn't been released. Lowering the rewards from 100 to 50 right now won't just make players think, 'Oh, they halved it. I guess it's not worth to play PvP because they did this.'
It is STILL 50 gold coins. That's 25 days of saving up your daily gold coins rewards.

If the stakes are higher now then it's not the same is it.
Player x might not be movitate to pvp for 3 books, but for 100 coins he might be motivate to pvp.

You are right in removing a LITTLE bit of an incentive but, as I said, it's still 50 gold coins.

My point is 100 gold coins is too much EVERY WEEK.

Pizy put it perfectly. This too much and it just entices people to use the 'abuse'. Making this less will provide less of an incentive. Also, those who can't use 2 devices won't have too less of a reward and won't feel as annoyed.

1st place gets 100 gold
2nd to 10th place gets 50 gold
11th to 50th place gets 20 gold
51st to 100th place gets 10 gold

PVP score of 5000+ gets 100 gold
PVP score of 4500+ gets 90 gold
PVP score of 4000+ gets 80 gold
PVP score of 3500+ gets 70 gold
PVP score of 3000+ gets 60 gold
PVP score of 2500+ gets 50 gold
PVP score of 2000+ gets 10 gold

They could prevent abuse by putting some safe guards in place.

Like only int from real players are counted towards the ranking.
You can only challenge the same person 5 times a day and challenges after 5 would not raise int but still reward honor/silver

That would be another excellent modification!

It would certainly reward those who actually play the PvP properly!
AND it makes it really competitive since you need to really find real players. ^^

Lexoph, the problem is not with the reward but with allowing boosting exploits. There seems to be no way to enforce anti-boosting. I agree that it is unfair. We have people with scores above 3200 on our server. Ridiculous.

They also use a different exploit where they use 4 devices and play 2 vs 2 against themselves to boost their own scores on their main account while keeping their alt accounts at a score of 200 or less.

I hope Haypi finds a way to restrict such exploits.
