Pegasus too OP?

It's obvious that even player lv 1 can boost their ladder rank with oels, because haypi makes oels to be shortcut to top....

If u play this game for free, then u need extra effort to go to the top, dont cry if someone who just play this game for 2-3 weeks crushed u with his oels army no matter how long and how experienced u are with this game (i experienced it too since i am only a VIP 1), and if u were so lucky and has money to buy oels then u're allowed to get shortcut to top...

I guess It's only natural that a oel is OP because they make it to help u boost your rank to top and helps u during map hunt, because if it weren't then there's no point to crack eggs for oels...

U just need to use proper monster to beat each oels, use neon to beat levy and hydra, draco to beat behemoth and fenrir, purrfection to beat pegasus, dont try to oppose pegasus, mino, chimera, cerb, setanic with neon or draco because it's a stupid strategy, u just need to think of an efficient strategy to beat your enemy, and if u still cant defeat him, then u need to search other target because now not only oels but stat bet also determine the outcome of battle...

No monster should be OP.

Like you said, Hydra can be beaten by Neon/Rhor, Setanic with Smiter et cetera, but seeing how a Pegasus easily crushes a Psychic Barrier Purrfection.

I guess there is no end in this discussion since everyone has different way of thinking, and i don't intend to force my opinion on everyone at all hahah, just want to spit it out here, and i want to say that there is nothing wrong with newbie who got boosted his rank with oels, that's the real fact about this game, sad indeed but that's the reality, they'll make next new oels'll be even more OP that many player'll use their money to crack and get it....

Btw, with pvp reward being removed now free player can only dream to get oels and they cant use gold to bet stat anymore, no one'll do pvp unless they need to buy dice or skillbook, and player who pays can rule the ladder with oels and bet stat with their gold...

YES! YES! totally agree!

All OELs should be equal. There should always be a pro and a con to every monster. I don't see that with the pegasus. It has too many advantages

fast
removes pod
changes atk to matk
double hits at 60, 90 and 120 (other double hit skills have lower power)

(mostly brought about by the weather) and seemingly no disadvantage.

With the old haypi when people asked what the best monster was people always said there wasnt really any -- the usual answers are:

it depends on your server (if people on your server use mostly fire then a water or rock type would be the best)
it depends if you are a defensive or an offensive player
all monsters have their advantages and disadvantages etc etc

those were the days *sigh*

As a Pegasus user I agree it is easily the single most powerful monster in the game. On my server, the top 5 players are usually the Pegasus users. It helped rocket these players to the top, as most oels do, but pega is exceptionally powerful. However, the weather is it's main advantage as you all have already discussed. Perhaps MStorm should no longer turn Atk/Def into MAtk/MDef. This may balance things more since pega's def isn't OP.

If you concentrate more in the pros and cons of Monsters, you definately will find the existing ways to defeat Pegasus easily, no matter if it has weather and full boosted skills and stats

I don´t agree with the nerf, and the nerf should be on the weather. It sucks that I can nearly beat my level 32 main account in ladder with this level 23 account.

uhhh my point was kind of that i was getting destroyed by level 54 monsters with no stat bet read before you talk bro. However if i do recall i said and i quote "not the best". That being said you are right, my monsters are not fully boosted but i wasnt trying to hold down #1 just show my disapproval. I now have very little problem dealing with pegasus however, so far...

Yup, that was before Haypi decided to be a complete douche towards me.
They pretty much stole $500 off me.

Also, the monsters I was referring to as OP was the term used by the community here, being the regular OELs by that time.
However, seeing how a single Pegasus can take out a team of four OELs that are higher level is beyond nonsense.
