Re: Gryphion Ask

It makes me wonder what everyone thinks fair combos are?

Surely using PoD, potions and Legendaries is unfair and "cheap".

PoD is fair, as it took the owner effort to get.
Potions are unfair, as not everyone uses them, and they give an unfair advantage over your opponent (4 vs 6 monsters).
Legendaries are fair, wether they are free of paid.
Free means they worked hard for it, paid means they paid money for it.
Finally back on track and ready to help you guys :D!

Re: Gryphion Ask

This is just for discussion purposes I'm not trying to fuel an argument, surely if you get potions your "earning them" and not everyone uses PoD. There's so many things you could pick at that you could consider is unfair.

Personally I have water jets to counter potion users and punishment to counter PoD.

The only thing I can agree on is you "earn" or "buy" things and use them to your advantage no matter what it is.

Everything in this game is counterable to some extent, the stuff that has the least options to counter may seem unfair.

I'm sorry for derailing the OPs thread, so back on track this is what I would use for griff.

For Ladder:
Talent-Invalidate
Skill Slot1-Mind Bending
Skill Slot2-Thunder Storm
Skill Slot3-Thunder Storm
Skill Slot4-Wind Blast

For PvP:
Talent-Static II
Slot1-Mind Bending/Curse
Slot2-Thunder Storm
Slot3-Wind Blast
Slot4-PoD

I suppose for PvE purposes you could use what ever you wanted but unless you have some sort of rain support that doesn't take too many turns to set-up, then It's not worth using STS, like koenaj said if you can push your TS to max rank then it still gives you the one shot feeling STS gives.

The only other advice is if your server is filled with taunt pewg combos then have an ability that hits multiple targets its hard to deal with that combo without cleave.

Sorry I just read this, Invalidate Talent with PoD? That won't work.

Re: Gryphion Ask

I've edited it to wind blast since your ladder focused griff can be used in 1v1 pvp and wind blast is insane when you out speed most opponents.

Thanks for the catch! :)

Re: Gryphion Ask

I don't really have a gryphion but don't think Mind bending will deal great damage as gryph's matk is much lower than atk.
