Re: Barren exp
Yes, all pure S

Some has already been said by others but this is my take on completing barren exp. If you do have egg legendary, then it will be much easier to complete due to superior stats and talents.
Monsters
You will need a variety of S rank monsters to cover most elements. They should really be level 58-60, have advanced skills (upgraded to +2/+3 minimum if possible) and preferably have POD on at least 2 core monsters. The AI monsters are not S ranked and dont have pod but they are very highly leveled (70-80 in the latter stages) and you will need every bit of stat boost.
Fire: I highly recommend intimidate ignightmare (POD is luxury) for your fire type. Adapt draco will do more damage but intimidate is a key talent to have for the majority of physical monsters that you will encounter. If you dont have the attack down debuff from intimidate, the boss monsters with their +6 advanced skills will potentially one/two shot your monsters with ease. Also a must against fenrirs.
Plant: Pattafly with pod is very important for 10-13 and 10-15. Imo patta is much better than smiter due to superior bulk and higher attack. Speed doesnt matter since with POD and 60 S rank, you will outrun almost all rock types except for 78+ minos. The ideal skills for your patta should be pod + poison leaves (+2 minimum, +3 have a high chance to one shot all rock cept mino) + photosynthesis.
Water: I used a levi with pod with upgraded water bombs. Along with pattafly, these 2 monsters will be your core monsters that you will use on every stage without elemental restrictions. Cygness is too slow and defenses are too low imo. Oogway can be a decent substitute but levi does the job much better.
Rock: Scythe or brawny with pod. I like scythe more due to resurrect but an armor 3 brawny can also do well. Keep in mind that you cant use rock types on 10-15.
Electric: Neon, rhor or gripphion with pod will all do fine. Gripphion has one advantage over the other two due to its insane speed which allows it to cast pod first in every battle which i found to be quite good. Also gripphion have massive mdef which is very good against fenrirs.
Physical: I think flight or hippo are not the best choice for barren exp due to their slow speed and they dont get elemental STAB. They do have ok defense and access to pod + soak.
Ghost: meniss is way too fragile but verte can do quite well.
Psychic: Main problem with psychic types is that you cant learn pod on any of them. Purfection is too slow and felicity is borderline at best. However, angelos can be very good to use for intimate or unerve. Unverve will help you with the ice stages against fenrirs and intimate for the rest.
Ice: Clawpard is much better than chunky. Really usefull to have an ice type for 10-10 and 10-14. Ice attacks are also magical so they do very well against rocks.
Recommended monsters: Pattafly/Levi/Ignightmare/Scythe/Gripphion/Clawpard

Items that you will need:
- About 40-50+ Resurrection cards (no joke)
- About 50-70+ normal healing potions (i found them to be better than jellies and simple healing potions dont work on blizzard/sandstorm levels since even if you do res from a fatal attack, the weather will still tick and kill you)
- Many jellies (for the levels that actually permit item usage, you want to be topped up after every battle)
Most important here are the res cards. The highly leveled ai monsters in sandstorm/blizzard dodges at least 60-70% of every attack. You will constantly find yourself missing your attacks and there is nothing that you can do about that other than try try again and hopefully you are lucky enough to hit next time around. Also on the stages that dont permit items to be used, equip your monsters with +10 attribute items.

Final battle tactics
For all these battles, you will need some luck with spawns. Sometimes you will get legendary minos/fenrirs spawn as the first 3 monsters before even seeing the final boss monster.
10-13: When the phoenix comes out, switch to intimidate as the sacrificial debuff. Then switch into scythe or levi.
10-14: I found this level to be very difficult due to it being a dual battle in blizzard. If you get 2 fenrirs, then it's almost a guaranteed wipe. Keep your levi/gripphion/fire type alive until the final fenrir comes out and hope for hits. Fenrir has lower defense compared to it's very high mdef so use water bombs instead of water torrent.
10-15: Same as 10-13 but have healing potions equipped on your monsters before hand. Switch into intimidate. Even with POD + intimidate, +6 laijutsu and sandstorm from mino will do about 50% to your pattafly/levi. Use soak/photosynthesis as needed and good luck!
