1) Don't ask me why the OP posted it in the Bug Section.
2) And because my opinion is ''almighty'', you're not allowed to state your opinion there ?
3) Just make a post that's actually relevant, and I'm fairly sure you'll bring it back to life again.

And I quote the guy from the topic you posted "bad vibe" I'm sorry if I'm coming off badly but twice you have have posted here with no relevancy to the actual topic. The topics is already made nothing to do about it now so I would like your thought whether this is good, bad, or even if its a nerf at all. :geek:

I have different feelings about it.
On one side I want it nerfed, because an Underdog Cerb can 1hit everything when set-up.
But on the other side, I'm pretty sure Haypi will only continue this hype, meaning there'll probably be monsters soon enough that can counter this, let it be with a Skill, Talent, or simply extremely high DEF.
Happy now :D?
Finally back on track and ready to help you guys :D!

I still think its a dumb skill and very strong as it takes away any sort of weakness but at least it's not ridiculously overpowered now :). And the fact that it was only a "rare" talent made matters only worse but...

Thought?

There's an active Topic about this in the Bug Section, try checking it out.

Devastryk wrote:You may regret this update for 2 things. First of all, it is not clear whether neutralizing element advantage also applies to the advantage monsters have by element in def. That is to say that when attacking Brawny with underdog Chimera brawny gets an element advantage, though it is possible that this would be classified as an elemental disadvantage for chimera. Second of all, it will increase the problem for free players as the ones willing to spend money will get all of the legends to cover all elements, making the gap between free and p2p players even greater. I know this because this update may be annoying, but I have hydra, chim, and cerb and this change will not win epic users any battles. Sure I got really lucky, but now I can beat anyone with a single legend type, meaning that more people are pressed to pay more. You may see this soon when your epic team is crushed even more than before as orange eggers go for full legend teams now more than ever. Be careful what you wish for.

I think what the "nerf" means is the monster with the elemental disadvantage no longer gets a boost for his attacks against a monster with an element advantage. I dot think it has anything to do with the damage the monster with underdog receives.

Then what would underdog do then? It either cancels out bonus attack or def. As of now the boost helps the attack as if it was a neutral monster, it is not super effective. The one shot is due to the high stats. So it either helps def or both

Re: Underdog nerf

I don't think so. I think that was why it was so op because it did give a boost to the attack that had the disadvantage. but neutralizing it I think they mean that that atk no longer gets a boost but also doesn't get a decrease it does the same amount on any monster that the atk isn't super effective against

I find that this would only make it unfair to people who do pay haha but ohh well I shall just spent more money to cover up for the nerfs of anything ~

Re: Underdog nerf

I'm still lost as to what was nerfed.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if a Fire monster would attack a rock monster with 100 base damage then it would be cut in half. So 50.

With underdog the base damage would be cut in half but then times 200%. So 100 x 50% = 50 x 200% = 100.

Has something change in this situation?

I don't know the exact numbers, but it seems like a 50% damage skill goes up to ±200% damage when Underdog is activated.

Re: Underdog nerf

I'm guessing this how it works.

Fire vs rock (elemental advantage) WITHOUT UNDERGOD power does 50% damage.

Before the fix
Fire vs rock (elemental advantage) WITH UNDERGOD power did 200% damage.

After the fix
Fire vs rock (elemental advantage) WITH UNDERGOD power does 100% damage.

I see what you are saying and it is hard without any real numbers to go by, but it never "felt" like my Cerb was doing 200% damage to scythe before the last change. It feels the same now as it did before which is why I'm confused.
