Goes the same in the Server Chat.

I know, I've been in the chat before. It's kinda cute actually, how the only thing he ever says is how he hasn't spent money and yet he's so good. Congrats, you're not supporting the game, great job.

Exactly, I like how majority here wants to remove the Orange Eggs, and basically ruin the game.

Re: BL expert

The dodge rating has increased somewhat since release of 1.40 but I don't find that it impacts me too much because honestly, I've won quite a few times because my own monsters dodged a heck of a lot of times in clutch situations. You win some, you lose some. Can't have it all.

Mine never dodge. Ever. I do get a pretty decent amount of critical hits though, kinda makes up for it.

Re: BL expert

I have a feeling my dodge & crit ratio are pretty stable, altough it's nonsense that a 95% hit skill misses 5x in a row.
I think Haypi needs to explain their hit formula, because, obviously, level matters.

Re: BL expert

I'm guessing the formula is:

8% for sandstorm + 5% from the skill (assuming 95% hit) + X% per mob level difference.

The "+" could also be "x" instead.

There is theory on both speed or level difference increasing the dodge rate. But I have not seen data or testing to support either.

That's not quite correct as far as a theory goes I think. You'd have to calculate the probability of a 95% accuracy move missing first, which isn't 5% but in fact is much, much smaller (I had a formula several months ago that I did, turned out the chance was like .0006 or something like that). So assuming there was no sandstorm the chance of the missing 5 times (yes, I did this too ill try finding the post if I can) was .000008 or some really low ass number like that. With sandstorm it will be more likely but not as likely as it actually happens. Whatever the random chance formula they use is, I think it needs some tweaking. I mean yes luck plays it's part but sometimes you gotta ask yourself what the heck is going on?

Ill see if I can find the formula I used and ill do a little math if I can, ill play a couple levels with and without sandstorm and see what results I get, hopefully I figure something out.

Haha, sorry to bother you with this, I'd do it myself, but... summer :(...

I guess the formula superfly88_713 used is pretty accurate, altough it seems like I'm missing same leveled monsters too often for that :?
